Fun At The Portobello Aquarium

It was really wet when we got to the Aquarium.We sat in a room and had lunch. Group 1 was the first to go to the touch tank. I enjoyed watching the scallop run away from the sea star. I found out that the father sea horse had the babies. My favourite animals were the crabs, sea horses and the sharks. After we had watched all the animals we went home on the bus.

Our Trip to the portobello Aquarium

On Monday we went to the Portobello Aquarium. We went to the lab to have our lunch. My favourite thing was when Jean put the Sea star in the same tank as the Scallop. The scallop swam away because it was scared the sea star was going to eat it. I learnt that the Snake Skin chiton had one shell broken into eight pieces. I liked going to the aquarium and on the way back I was very tired.

My New Kitten

In the weekend I went to the SPCA to buy a kitten. Mum bought kitten food as we were getting a new kitten. The kitten we were going to get was sick, so we chose another kitten called Errol. Errol is black and white with droopy ears. He has one black paw and three white paws. We had to take the kitten to the vet because he had to have some jabs so he wouldn't get sick. He sleeps on my bed and he likes going outside and playing in the bushes. When we go away on holidays, we are going to take him to an animal carer, so they can look after him.

I like my kitten and I love playing with him. He is so cute.

ZOE'S BUDGIE

This week Zoe came to our class to show us her budgie. Her budgie's name is Xmas. His birthday is on the 1st of September. Xmas is a boy and inside his cage he has an edible bell. He also has a mirror in his cage. He looked at himself most of the time while he was in class.

I enjoyed watching Xmas when he came to visit us.

Seven aside Tournament

Last Saturday I played in a seven a side tournament at Green Island. We played 5 games.We won 3 games. We got into the semi-final. I was excited. We won the semi final so we got into the final. I was really excited. When we started playing, I felt really nervous. We kicked the winning goal.Then I was cheering. WE WON. I felt so happy that we had won. We all got a yellow medal after the game.

On Friday night after we dropped my brother Callum off at a party, Mum and I went into town to do some messages. When I was in town I got my ears pierced. The colour of my earings was Emerald. Emerald is green. The earings are the colour of my Birthstone. Alana's sister Kylie pierced my ears. it hurt. I was very nervous.

We made these in KidPix with Mrs C-B today in the computer lab. It was lots of fun and we enjoyed taking our time with the tools in KidPix and trying hard to draw these ourselves without using stickies and already made backgrounds:-)

We also learnt some information about Cyber safety and how important it is not to give out your personal information. We decided that we would only give out our first names when writing on the internet, or to use a nick name! We also watched Hector the Dolphin which is a great Cyber safety site.
